Welcome to emersionbooks.com: the web connection to the Emersion line. Emersion is designed to provide resources for communities of faith. We trust that these resources will inspire hope, provide encouragement, give instruction, and serve you and your community in living well with God in the way of Jesus.

Emersion will provide resources from a variety of perspectives and on a wide range of topics.

Some resources will give clues and patterns for a way forward. Others are intended to feed deep consideration and rethinking. But be assured, the material coming from Emersion will be fresh, forward leaning, and useful for churches of all varieties.

We have found some of the best thinkers and top practitioners in the Emerging Church to contribute to the line. But the strength of the line will be you, the reader. We need you. We need your feedback on the resources we provide and your direction on future projects. We want to include your voice in the line.Toward that end we invite you to participate with us through this interactive website, through blogs (An Emergent Manifesto of Hope Blog, Signs of Emergence Blog), podcasts, videocasts, and at face-to-face gatherings around the country.

So please, enjoy the resources, but even more join us in the development and creation of Emersion.

Emersion is a partnership between Baker Publishing Group and Emergent Village.

We Want Your Input

Welcome again to Emersion. Our dream is for this blog to be an interactive place for good conversation. We want to keep you updated on the books and authors involved in this line and we want your input in shaping the future of Emersion books. One way we will ask for your feedback is through polls. This Opinion Republic poll allows you to submit an original idea or vote on a previously submitted idea. The first poll asks you to submit an idea for an upcoming book.  Please do so by clicking on this emersion: Opinion Republic link, or see the poll in the sidebar of this blog.

[This poll is now closed, we will be posting another poll soon. If you have an idea for one email emersion@bakerbooks.com]
